Turkish draughts wich is known olso as Dama is a Turkish version of checkers. 16 Pieces on a 8x8 board can move forwards or sideways one square, capturing by means of a jump. When a piece reaches the back row, it becomes a King, wich means that the piece can move any number of squares forwards, sideways or backwards.
